I wanted to make sure they actually had something interesting to play, haha. The viola part is especially more active than it needs to be (potentially the most notes of all the parts). But still, the duke NEEDS his subjects!

omg the texture of this is so well constructed! like you develop it in a way that makes it richer without ever feeling cluttered

also your wind writing/playing is super tasteful in having independence between the different lines while still being very aware of where they fit into place with the others

Hello, newfound newgrounds music-making genius. Thanks for listening and letting me know what you thought! Hearing your music was actually one of a few things that inspired me to post something after so long. I'm kinda glad I did, because afterwards, I realised that on my music page here, there would be something for every single year since 2013, except 2023 would have just been completely skipped. That would be have been horribly unsatisfying, so thanks for allowing me to avoid such a catastrophe.

I usually like to add way more sound design and such, but wanted to go a bit more acoustic with this arrangement in feel. Glad that sometimes simple is enough! :D

I'll upload a bit more actively if you do too. How's that for a deal?

aaaaa I love how the piano guides the listener as you build those dreamy textures around it in the rest of the arrangement! it gives such a nice sense of immersion and development, beautifully performed as well~

ok I really wouldnt have thought so much variance in the orchestration would work for a rhythm as wobbly as this song's but it gives it a super charming dynamic
